Hello, welcome to my page.

Richard is a lifelong East Tennessean who proudly describes himself as “born and bred in the briar patch.” With deep roots in the region, he’s passionate about serving the community he’s always called home. His drive to help others began early in life and has remained a spiritual pillar throughout his career in financial services to his current role in mortgage lending.

Before entering the lending industry, Richard built a strong foundation in fraud analysis and regulatory compliance, with a focus on the Bank Secrecy Act. He later expanded his expertise in commercial credit while working with retail banks, sharpening his understanding of risk and financial systems. His interest in all things financial began at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and he’s even taken a turn working for the federal government under the Department of Commerce before returning to the private sector.

Richard approaches each client relationship with care, clarity, and a commitment to making the mortgage process as smooth as possible. He believes that strong communication and attention to detail are key to building trust and delivering results. Outside of work, Richard is sure to be found with friends or family. On rare occasions, when the weather is just right, you might find him on a river in the Great Smoky Mountains fishing for ever-elusive trout.
